System Standards and Rules

Pre Pro Sports strives to let you customize your leagues to the fullest. Scoring Systems, Roster Rules, Game Formats and Schedules are yours to choose. However, there are a few standards and rules that all leagues must currently follow until our technology platform develops more flexibility.

The following items are rules and standards that all leagues must follow.

Standard Description
Field Goal Scoring We cannot currently score players based on Field Goal Distance (such as bonus points for 30+ yard FGs) due to stat supplier limitations. However, we can track offensive player fumbles.
Scoring/Stat Errors In the event of a statistical error, commissioners or owners may send us an email at support@preprosports.com. Pre Pro Sports will investigate statistic and scoring problems immediately between our stat supplier, the schools, the NCAA data feed, and the major media outlets. Pre Pro Sports reserves the right to make final stat determinations.
Roster Slot Locks Roster slots (individual players) are locked based on school game-start times (Eastern Standard Time) and unlocked after system scoring. Commissioners may override game-start locks for all teams.
On-line Draft Pre Pro Sports does not currently support an online draft system, but we have established a feature to allow commissioners to load team rosters.
Players with Multiple Positions In the event a player earns significant playing time at two positions, Pre Pro Sports reserves the right to choose the position type. Such position moves are rare and will be installed across all leagues. Our current policy is to follow the position set forth in the school website roster. If two positions are listed (i.e. WR/TE), we will assign the first position (i.e. WR).
Weekly Scoring Our scoring system runs from Tuesday to the following Monday each week. However, scores will be updated by Sunday morning for the majority of games and updated Sunday and Monday, where applicable.
Stats Updated Next Day Currently, there are no stat providers that can offer Live-Scoring for all 119 Div-1A schools. Thus, all Saturday games will be updated between Saturday evening to Sunday noon and other evening games will be updated by the next morning.
College Season Schedule The "real" College Football season runs from Week 1 on Thursday, August 30, 2007 and ends at Week 14 on Saturday, November 28, 2007. However, your league determines the number of regular season weeks and number of playoff weeks within that timespan. Thus, you can choose to end your season on Week 13 or Week 14 or a combo of both (where you choose which week counts for schools playing both weeks) and with or without playoffs.
Week 1 Schedule The first week of the "real" College Football season runs from Thursday, August 30, 2007 (11 games slated) to Monday, September 3 (2 games), so all first-week games will begin at that time (when the player pool is applicable).
